Maciej Świechowski

Head of QED Labs

Maciej is a distinguished scientist and multilingual programmer with a strong background in artificial intelligence. During his doctoral studies, he developed “MiNI-Player,” a program that reached the quarterfinals of Stanford University’s General Game Playing Competition. He graduated with honors with a PhD in Computer Science in 2015 and gained international experience as a visiting scientist at the University of New South Wales in Australia.

Currently, Maciej holds key roles Head of QED Labs, CTO at QED Games, an academic teacher, and co-founder of the Information Technology for Psychiatry foundation. He specializes in artificial intelligence, intelligent agents, simulations, and mathematical aspects of 3D graphics. His impressive achievements include authoring over 40 scientific publications and active involvement with organizations like the Polish Information Processing Society and IEEE, alongside supporting major conferences.

In his free time, Maciej is passionate about travel, music, enjoys all kinds of games, and plays the guitar.
